I have a challenge for you. Adobe and I have an interesting relationship. For three years, I have been working with them, on and off, on improving the digital illustration experience in Photoshop. But, in many ways, I’m seen as just a small fish. I understand this, but I don’t think they really realize how many thousands of you out there use my brushes and use Photoshop as your primary illustration software - and you want it to be the best it can be. I want that, too. In order to get them to listen more readily to my suggestions about better tool management, a faster brush engine, and all the other features that we illustrators NEED, it’s important that I show them how big the audience is for this kind of livestream. So, here is what I want to do: I want to BREAK their registration server! Yes, that’s right. From what I have been told, they are expecting fewer than 1500 people to sign up for this free livestream event because that’s approaching the max of what they can handle for livestreams. I want so many thousands of people to hit this registration page and sign up, that Adobe needs to continually bump up the number, until they just can’t handle it. This will prove that ILLUSTRATORS NEED PHOTOSHOP TO BE BETTER! We are, in many ways, the least served customer when it comes to this software. Look at how little has been done with painting and drawing tools in the past few years, while other areas have rapidly expanded and improved (3-D, Layout, Type, and Photo Editing).
